NPWT Dressing KitNPWT dressing kits are used for
accomplishing the therapy of both acute and chronic wounds. In order to remove
extra fluid, reduce swelling, and speed healing, these are made to produce a
vacuum environment around the incision. A foam dressing, a clear adhesive film,
and a tubing setup that connects to a negative pressure pump are commonly
included in the NPWT dressing kits. The transparent adhesive tape is wrapped
around the foam dressing before it is applied directly to the wound. The
dressing and negative pressure pump are then attached to the tubing system. |
